- 1 serving (37g) Unflavored Cream of Rice
- 1/2 cup breakfast sausage, crumbled and cooked

- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 large egg (optional, for serving)
- Chopped chives or green onions (optional, for garnish)

- Cook the Sausage: While the cream of rice is cooking, crumble and cook the breakfast sausage in a separate pan over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Mix in Ingredients: Once the cream of rice is done cooking, stir in the butter, garlic powder, onion powder, shredded cheddar cheese, and cooked sausage. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir until everything is well combined and the cheese is melted.
- Optional Egg: If you’d like, you can top the dish with a fried or poached egg for extra protein and richness.
- Garnish: Serve with chopped chives or green onions on top for a pop of color and fresh flavor.
